ACEPHAP participates in RCOG World Congress 2025
The African Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) is proud to participate in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) World Congress 2025, currently underway at ExCeL London, United Kingdom. The Centre’s Director, Professor Hadiza Shehu Galadanci, and a Research Fellow from the Centre, Dr. Aminu Wakili, are attending this prestigious global event, which runs from June 23 to 25, 2025.
Held under the theme “Equity in Care, Innovation in Action”, this year’s RCOG Congress brings together experts and stakeholders to explore pressing issues in women’s health, with a focus on equitable care delivery and forward-looking innovations. The three-day programme features keynote addresses, expert panels, and hands-on workshops, highlighting cutting-edge developments in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Prof. Galadanci, a renowned leader in maternal and reproductive health, is actively engaging in high-level discussions with global professionals, researchers, and policymakers. Her presence underscores ACEPHAP’s growing international profile and its unwavering commitment to advancing population health outcomes across Africa.
The Congress also presents valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. These engagements are instrumental in enabling ACEPHAP to integrate the latest clinical and research innovations into its work across West and Central Africa.
Notably, two abstracts from ACEPHAP were accepted for oral and poster presentations at the Congress. They were delivered by Prof. Galadanci and Dr. Aminu Wakili, respectively, and were also selected for publication in BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology—further demonstrating the Centre’s contributions to the global health research community.
